Who doesn’t love Trader Joe’s? Nice prices on everything from produce to alcohol is always a winning strategy. But as every TJ’s shopper knows: the snacks are where it’s at. Whether you’re into savory or sweet, they always have a selection of fun and creative snacks you can’t find anywhere else. And each year they add new must-try noshes. Here are our current picks for top 5 snacks at Trader Joe’s for 2024.

1. Chili and lime flavored rolled tortilla chips

If there’s a single Trader Joe’s snack that tops almost every ‘best of’ list… it’s these rolled tortilla chips. They’re not too hot, just hot enough, and have a supremely satisfying crunch. And as if that weren’t enough—they’re only $2.99 a bag!

    2. Cauliflower crisps

These look like regular crackers… and they crunch like regular crackers… but they taste a little different. That’s because they’re not regular crackers. They’re made from cauliflower! And they’re really good. The cool thing is that they’re healthier than non-cauliflower crackers. And they’re a great option for our gluten-free and keto friends, too! And they’re only $2.99 a box.

      3. Dumplings—all of them!

Trader Joe’s frozen dumpling game has always been strong. Chicken, veggie, pork, shrimp… there’s something for everyone. They’re a quick, simple meal, and always ready right there in your freezer. When you’re ready, it’s just a matter of simmering them in a pan and then crisping them up when the water evaporates. They’re ready in less than 20 minutes; you don’t even have to defrost them first! The various types of dumplings come in a few different sizes of packaging, but they’re all reasonably priced—they range from $3.49 to $6.00.

        4. Dark chocolate sunflower seed butter cups

Everyone knows Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but Trader Joe’s has elevated the concept. First, they replaced the traditional milk chocolate with dark chocolate for a less sweet, more sophisticated treat. And instead of peanut butter, these are made with sunflower seed butter—so people with nut allergies can safely eat these as well. (And they still taste pretty similar to peanut butter.)

          5. Patio potato chips

Trader Joe’s Patio potato chips are fun because they’re different from other chips—they are their own variety pack, right there in the same bag. Wild! So you have some basic plain chips in there, but also dill, salt & vinegar, ketchup, and BBQ. Every bite is a surprise, and if you grab 2 or more chips at a time, you’ll get a whole lot of unique flavor combinations, too!
